Dimensions & vehicle fit
Approximate measurements:
- Main rear-seat panel: 131 cm across
- Seat section: 62 cm deep
- Backrest section: 47 cm high
- Front drop panel: 56 cm high
Measure your rear bench and the space between the rear and front seats before ordering. Check that your vehicle has suitable headrests for the attachment straps. Fit depends on your vehicle's actual measurements and interior layout.
Measure the usable width of your rear bench from side to side, and the depth of the seat, before ordering. This check compares those two measurements with the published panel width and seat depth. Compare the backrest and front drop with your own seat.
What's included
1 × HardBench rear-seat cover with removable base and attached door protectors.
Materials & care
- Outer cover: fabric/cloth construction
- Support structure: removable rigid plate used to create a firmer platform across the rear-seat footwell
- Centre panel: breathable mesh between the front seats
- Other construction: attached door protectors, storage pockets, headrest straps and fastening clips
- Everyday cleaning: vacuum loose hair and wipe marks with a damp cloth
- Deeper cleaning: remove the rigid base before cleaning the fabric section and follow the care label supplied with the product
Material transparency
HardBench uses a layered construction rather than a single material: a fabric outer surrounds a removable rigid support base, with a separate breathable mesh centre panel plus attached door protectors, storage pockets and fastening hardware. This combination is designed to provide a firmer rear-seat platform while keeping the cover practical for everyday pet travel.
Our current supplier specification identifies the construction components above but does not provide verified fibre percentages for the outer fabric or mesh, the exact composition of the rigid base, or raw-material/factory-origin details. We therefore publish the confirmed construction only and avoid adding unverified textile or sustainability claims.
Important
HardBench is a rear-seat protector and travel platform. It is not a crash-tested pet restraint. Use an appropriate vehicle restraint for your pet while travelling.
